Matt delivers enjoyable, friendly and enthusiastic lessons with the aim of promoting a lifelong love of swimming. He believes that each swimming lesson should be a big part of your child’s week and a fun experience.

Matt’s qualifications include ASA Level 3 Club Coach, ASA Level 2 Swimming Teacher and ASA Fitness Swimming Instructor. Lessons are available for absolute beginners to high level competitors and all that falls in-between.

Matt has 20 yrs of experience working with a vast range of swimmers. He is currently employed as the swimming teacher for St Paul’s Cathedral School, responsible for teaching both Prep and Pre-Prep swimming. He also teaches P.E. and Games at St Paul’s Cathedral School.

His previous experience and responsibilities include Coaching for Anaconda Swimming Club, Bethnal Green Sharks Swimming Club and Tri-London Triathlon Club. This experience includes young swimmers ‘Development Coaching’ and coaching international competitors and winners in both Middle Distance (Half Ironman) and Long Distance (Ironman) Triathlons. He also has over 20 years teaching for other state and private sector schools.

Among other things, Matt has completed four IRONMAN Triathlons (2.4mi Swim-112mi Bike-26.2mi Run) as well as The Alcatraz Challenge (swimming from Alcatraz to the San Francisco shore).
